Abstract
The flow hydrodynamics in a pure filtering membrane consisting of several wire layers in a slot filter are investigated. The dependences determining the structure characteristics of the slot layer are obtained and their influence on the hydraulic resistance and its dependence on the flow velocity is studied. The technique of calculating the hydraulic resistance of a pure slot membrane is developed.
