Empowering education through mobile cloud computing based learning process models

Mobile cloud computing (MCC) is a combination of mobile computing and cloud computing. It is relatively a new concept used in industry and in education sector for future development. The main advantage of cloud computing is that it reduces the cost for the implementation of software and hardware. Cloud computing overcomes various obstacles and challenges related to mobile computing. MCC provides data processing and storage services to mobile users in clouds and all complex computing modules are also managed in the clouds without any powerful configuration. This paper focuses on education technology by presenting various models for mobile learning, cloud based and Web based learning. By using MCC, one can improve the quality of education system at a reasonable cost.
