Abstract

RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) measurement is provided by RF transceiver can be used for ranging but it has a poor accuracy. On the other hand, an additional ultrasound sensors gives an accurate range but sometimes the number of received singal is not enough for positioning. This paper presents the positioning algorithm using both RSSI and ultrasound.
