Abstract

Compared to a nonirradiated control, no measurable difference was observed in the gamma spectra of 4 lb of beef a day after the sample received a 10-megarad dose of Co/sup 6O/ radiation. The counts per minute for irradiated and nonirradiated were 121.02 plus or minus 0.58 and 120.68 plus or minus 0.58. (T.R.H.)
