Abstract
Wind Loads on Tall Building is regarded as the most important design factor. Recently, in various fields of architecture structural analysis using of the commercial software is common, but the estimation of wind loads is still calculated by wind tunnel test. CFD analysis can reduce the spatial and temporal constraints, compared to wind tunnel test that require large-scale experiment facilities. In addition, CFD modeling can be more precise, and three-dimensional velocity distribution can be identified. In this paper, we simulate for the wind loads using CFD(computational fluid dynamics), and compare its results to existing wind tunnel tests. Thus, the Tall Buildings in the wind environment impact assessment should demonstrate the reliability of CFD analysis.
