Abstract
In group l after 2015 r and in group 2 after 1434 r x irradiation, severe intestinal damage and leukopenia were observed and all died with mean survival times of 4 days 6 hours and 5 days 17 hours, respectively. These changes seem to be comparable to those in mice which were irradiated by 1.1 x l0 / sup 11//sq cm neutrons. In group 3 irradiated with 672 r, though the radiatton effects were not so injurious as those of groups 1 and 2, complete recovery was not attained by the 4th week. These changes seem to be more injurious than those in mice which were irradiated with 4.7 x l0/sup 11//sq cm neutrons. (Abstr. Japan Med., 1: No. 13, 1961)
