Abstract

Abstract Results from a comparative tuberculin testing program using the revised classification for skin test reactions were compared with results derived by the old method of classification. The primary changes ranged from small decreases in false negative reactions to remarkably large decreases in false positive ones. Elimination of the doubtful reactions in these calculations appeared to be the main factor in the improvement of both the agreement and disagreement percentages.
