Abstract

Two sprays of indoxacarb (0.007%) and spinosad (0.007%) were found most effective, quinalphos (0.05%), lambda cyhalothrin (0.004%) and emmamectin benzoate (0.002%) as moderately effective and HaNPV and B.t. as less effective in reducing pod borer population. NSKE (5%) and azadirachtin (5 ml/lit.) were found least effective against pod borer. The maximum yield was obtained in plots treated with indoxacarb (17.42 q ha−1) while minimum yield was obtained in the plots treated with azadirachtin (11.17 q ha−1).
