Abstract
Phagodeterrent/antifeedant activity of some plant extracts in four concentrations, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 5.0% applied by Food Treatment Method against two stored grain pests, T. castaneum and O. surinamensis was observed. of each test solution was In T. castaneum maximum (2.98%) activity with leaf extract of Red Kaner and minimum (0.56%) with the leaves extract of Guava were observed. Whereas for O. surinamensis maximum (3.81%) and minimum (0.56%) values were obtained by the bulb extract of Garlic and seed extract of Amaltaas, respectively.
