Abstract

The heat flow diagrams for a conventional power plant in a unit arrangement, for a nuclear power plant wtth a pressurized water reactor, as well as for a nuclear power plant with a boiling water reactor are explained, and their special points are discussed. The possibilities of improving the specific heat consureption of the turbine by regenerative pre-heating were investigated, as well as the partial load behavior. Furthermore, a heat flow diagnam of an industrial power plant, complete heat flow diagram for a 600 MW power station unit, and for 1,300 MW nuclear power plant are described. (GE)
