Abstract

Coat and skin colour inheritance in domesticated animals have always captured the \ninterest of both the livestock breeder and the geneticist. While coat colour has limited \neconomic importance in most livestock breeds, it plays a vital role in the adaptability of the \nanimal, especially in the potent African sun.
