Efficacy of different insecticides against diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella L. on cabbage

Abstract

Insecticides belonging to different groups were evaluated in the field against diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella L. on cabbage. Cartap hydrochloride 0.05%, deltamethrin 0.002% endosulfan 0.07% and imidacloprid 0.01% gave maximum larval mortalities. Achook (neem preparation) was least effective against larval population of P. xylostella.
