Myoepithelioma of The Soft Palate: Report of A Rare Case

Myoepithelioma is a rare benign neoplasm of the salivary glands, which generally occurs in the parotid gland and less often in the minor salivary glands of the oral cavity. It accounts for less than 1% of all salivary gland tumours. Myoepithelioma was initially described as a variant of pleomorphic adenoma, and it is now recognized as a distinct tumor of different biological behavior. This report focuses on clinical, radiological and histological features of myoepithelioma of the soft palate.
