Energy conservation: Fiscal Year 1976 annual report

This report was prepared after examination of the current energy conservation efforts of Louisiana to provide background information for meeting both long- and short-range needs of future energy conservation programs. After reviewing the aims of the State Energy Conservation Program, the conservation activities in industry, in commercial and residential buildings, and in the transportation sector are summarized. The energy management ongoing projects in the above sectors, as well as future projects, are summarized. State Plan PL 94-163, a plan to attain a 5% reduction in energy demand from the 1980 forecast, is discussed briefly. (MCW)
