Abstract

This article presents a set of indicators to evaluate urban environmental quality. It includes traditional and public services indicators. Usually, only traditional indicators are employed that evaluate for example asthma rates, water quality and air quality. Considering that environment is a set of interactions in the environment itself, economy and society, the article introduces public services indicators to evaluate urban environmental quality indicators. 22 indicators are described altogether with 7 (seven) related to public services.
