Abstract
The thermal performance of building envelope has a great impact on heating, cooling energy consumption of building. This has increased attention to design and construction for developing thermally efficient envelopes. To maximize environmental benefit of natural condition, the building shapes, orientation and thermal characteristics of envelopes must be considered from early design stage. To suggest basic data of building envelopes for building energy conservation, we surveyed and analyzed building envelopes in existing office building.
