Abstract
Planting done in February had maximum flower size (6.70 cm), number of flowers/plant (53.33) and flower yield/plant (296.10 g) whereas, July planting resulted maximum plant height (108.30 cm), plant spread (41.85 cm), seed yield/plant (23.12 g) and seed number/head (191.62). Best flower and seed characters were obtained with 30 g nitrogen/m2 when applied through calcium ammonium nitrate.
