In the present paper, the author will be analyzing the concept of investor protection, the general process of investor protection and the specific investor protection framework existing in Singapore. The paper will deal in detail with the position of Singapore Investor Protection structure in comparison to those of other economies of the world. The paper will discuss the recent trends in the Singapore market and the measures undertaken by the regulatory authority to provide for a robust investor protection system in the country.
