Financial results on mixed dairy farms in 1942-43 as compared with 1938-39

In May, 1939, a report on the financial results secured on 98\n"mixed" dairy farms on the North Cork-Limerick border, in the\naccounting year ended 30th April, 1938, was presented to the Society.\n(Journal SSI 1938-39) For 93 of these farms, comparable data\nwere again collected in 1939, covering the accounting-year ended\n30th April, 1939, and portion of these data appeared in the Society's\nJournal for 1939-40.\nIn 1943, information, similar to that collected in 1938 and 1939,\nwas again secured for some of the farms mentioned, the accounting year\nbeing 1st May, 1942, to 30th April, 1943. This information is\nhere summarised, and where possible, measurements are effected of\nthe changes occurring since 1938-39 ? the last complete accounting year\nof peace.
