Abstract

We're living in a physical world that's moving at the speed of software. This means that software's trajectory will drive software engineering, not vice versa. However, software engineering is also driven by visionary corporate leaders, backed by skilled software developers. This article is part of a special issue on the Future of Software Engineering.
