Abstract

Three repeated sampling areas that have typical grazing gradient in the same grassland site in 2005~2007 were selected,the characteristics of grassland plant communities were determined with quadrat method.The effects of different grazing intensity on the grassland condition and productivity as well as the relationship between productivity and grassland condition were analyzed.The results showed that with the increase of grazing intensity,grassland condition became worse,grazing disturbance had a significant impact on grassland productivity;grassland condition and productivity can't constitute a relevant model,but a good grassland condition can maintain higher productivity,higher productivity was a comprehensive reflection of grassland condition and environment condition,i.e.under a good environment condition,worse grassland condition may produce higher productivity;under a worse environment condition,good grassland condition may also maintain higher productivity.
