Abstract
Sheep under two different management practices were screened for gastrointestinal nematode parasites. The overall prevalence of nematode infections in sheep of farm and field managed groups were 75.92 and 88.39%, respectively, with an overall prevalence of 81.17%. Coproculture and gut studies indicated the presence of Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, Nematodirus, Marshallagia, Bunostomum, Chabertia, Ostertagia, Oesophagostomum, Strongyloides and Trichuris type of worms. The Haemonchus and Bunostomum were predominant among all genera. Besides adult lungworms were seen in trachea, bronchi and bronchioles simultaneously.
