Abstract

This paper outlines the website www.PVDATABASE.org. The PV database is a 'joint venture' between the PV-UP-SCALE project and the IEA PVPS Task 10 project. Aim of the PV database is to collect and disseminate the lessons learnt on urban applications of PV by reviewing and describing PV projects in the built environment in Europe, in IEA countries and some other countries. In the urban PV project database all important data and issues regarding relevant urban PV installations are presented in the same format. 350 new urban and building integrated PV projects, 30 PV Communities and 100 ‘old’ BIPV projects (from the nineties) are described in text, data, figures, high quality pictures and a link to the exact location of the project in Google Maps.
