Abstract
The preparations and characterization of polypyrrole – polyethylene glycol (PPy-PEG) films are reported in this paper. The composite films were synthesized by electrochemical method in 0.2 mol·L-1 Py and 5% PEG in 0.2 mol·L-1 oxalic acid. The electrochemical behaviour of PPy and PPy-PEG coatings has been investigated in phosphate buffer solution (PBS) by cyclic voltammetry, Tafel plots and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The surface topography and the roughness were checked by atomic force microscopy.
