Abstract

The Commission is expected to facilitate a discussion between representatives from the city of Boston and Wynn MA, LLC/Wynn Resorts regarding matters related to Wynn’s resort-casino gaming proposal. Commissioners will also receive an update on the status of evaluation teams currently being assembled to begin the evaluation process upon the Commission’s receipt of final slots applications due on October 4, 2013. The Commission’s Director of Workforce Development, Jill Griffin, will present commissioners with a plan to implement a ‘Supplier Task Force’ to maximize vendor and supplier opportunities for Massachusetts small businesses. The legal staff will also provide commissioner’s with an update on the drafting of Phase 3 regulations. Lastly, the Commission’s Ombudsman, John Ziemba, will provide commissioners with an applicant status report.
