Abstract

Main concepts about Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) are discussed. A short explanation about the basic structure and mechanisms inside an OLED as a photon emission organic device is given and a review of different types of OLEDs is presented; finally an explanation about different basic OLEDs display configurations, including last advances in OLEDs technologies, is shown.
