Abstract

Multilayer soft lithography of PDMS is a well-known technique for the fabrication of complex fluidic functions. However, the process is inadequate for industrial applications. Using styrenic thermoplastic elastomers, we report a rapid prototyping technique for the fabrication, the assembling and the integration of pneumatically driven valves, pumps and mixers in a multilayer microfluidic device made fully in thermoplastic. Layers were fabricated by hot embossing lithography.
