Abstract

No matter the size, complexity or type of project, risk management plays an integral role. Most stakeholders view risk a project negative. Risk can also be a positive. Sometimes risks are really issues and concerns. If updating your risk register, discussing risk at every team meeting, and constantly keeping an eye out for risk is not part of your project management strategy, keep reading. This white paper will discuss the ABCs of risk management, including development of a risk management plan, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, selection of cause and effect tools, and maintaining a risk registry. What is Risk?
