Abstract
Most of the wells in the BP West Java field have been producing since 1971. Gas lift has been selected as the main artificial lift method in the West Java field when the reservoir pressure has declined due to minimum reservoir pressure support. Since reservoir pressure is declining and the completions have been in service for more than 20 years, some of the wells with high oil and gas potential production are currently being shut in due to liquid level below the lowest existing gas lift mandrel and leaking in the tubing completions.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
