Abstract

From traditional LCA to sustainability LCA The poster describes the steps for broadening the scope of LCA and moving from traditional LCA to LCA for sustainability. The applicability of LCA for sustainability is tested on a concrete example, i.e. a supply chain for a Norwegian biorefinery based on lignocellulosic products. The aim is to develop a methodological framework for assessing its sustainability through the identification of specific indicators for environmental, economic and social dimensions.
