Abstract

Purpose: to raise information about amateur choral singers vocal profile looking for symptoms, habits, feelings and attitude regarding singing and voice. Methods: 124 amateur choral singers questionnaires have been analyzed. Results: found data has shown a higher number of multiple vocal symptoms in singing than in voice. There was a significant statistic association between voice and singing symptoms, habits and feelings compared to the number of vocal and singing symptoms found. Conclusion: amateur choral singers vocal profile show there are voice and singing aspects association although a detailed investigation of vocal production patterns is required to guarantee a general vision of the aspects that can influence amateur choral singers voice quality.
