Abstract

Inorganic anion concentrations in the Red River were analyzed with ion chromatography for the purpose of understanding the impact of the Fargo-Moorhead area on these possible pollutants. Samples were taken upstream and downstream of FargoMoorhead. Results show that phosphate levels decreased, nitrite levels were undetectable, nitrate levels increased and sulfate levels remained relatively constant.
