Abstract

Figure. The sagittal and axial MR images of the cervical spine 20 hours after the onset of symptoms. The sagittal images show the high signal intensities on the diffusion-weighted image (DWI) (A), the dark area on the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) map (B), and the high signal intensity on the T2-weighted image (T2WI) in the C4 to C7 (C). The axial images demonstrate the anterocentral high signal intensities on the DWI and T2WI (D and F) and the low signal intensity on the ADC map (E) at the C5 level of the spinal cord.
