A field experiment was carried out in a randomized block design with 12 treatments (eleven insecticides and one control) and 3 replications during kharif 2010 at College Agronomy Farm, Bansilal Amritlal College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand to evaluate newer molecules of insecticides for their bio-efficacy against brinjal shoot and fruit borer, Leucinodes orbonalis Guenee (Lepidoptera : Pyralidae) in brinjal (Solanum melongena Linnaeus) crop.
