Open publisher page 0 citations

Abstract

New ship types can be developed that combine various forms of sustention. These are known as Hybrid vehicles. A specific hybrid vehicle type based on the hydrofoil is compared to conventional hydrofoils in order to ascertain whether or not any advantages accrue to this type of design. A simplified cost versus performance comparison techniques is utilized. (Author)
