Abstract

This paper analyzes the effects on the frequency behavior of the microstrip lines with defected ground plane structures (DGS) on anisotropic substrates. An improvement in the losses at attenuation poles and sharpness factor of LPF based on DGS on anisotropic substrates has been reported.
