A fuzzy similarity measure for generalized fuzzy numbers

Abstract

In this paper, a new fuzzy similarity measure is introduced with the help of the fuzzy distance measure between two generalized fuzzy numbers which is developed of fuzzy distance measure proposed in [1] to generalized fuzzy numbers and the concept is illustrated by solving several testing examples. Also it is indicate that the method proposed in this paper computes a fuzzy similarity measure value with less fuzziness and ambiguity as compared to that of Guha and Chakraborty.
