Abstract
In this paper, the design of new microstrip patch antenna is done by cutting 4 type slot into dimension calculated rectangular patch. The obtain impedance bandwidth (VSWR=1.043) of design antenna is 1006MHz (36.58% fractional bandwidth) for operating frequency range of 2.247-3.253GHz at calculated resonant frequency of 2.567GHz. The simulated results of design antenna are suitable for broadband applications. The designed structure and performance of MSPA is simulated using IE3D Zealand simulation software. The antenna is fed by 50Ωmicrostrip line feed .
