Abstract

Violence against women (VAW) is one of the most widespread and least-recognized human rights violations across the world. Of its many manifestations, domestic violence is one of the most pervasive forms. This document describes the initiative by the CSO Humsafar in and around Lucknow to end VAW through community mobilization.
