Abstract
The leaf chlorophyll contents and change trends of three pumpkin inbred lines and their cross combinations were determined to analyze their difference, combining ability and heteosis. The results showed that the change trends of leaf chlorophyll contents of tested inbred lines and combinations presented a single peak, there was difference between inbred lines or combinations and CK and there was difference between inbred lines and the combinations in leaf chlorophyll content. The general combining ability of leaf chlorophyll content of 360-3 inbred line was the highest. The specific combining ability of leaf chlorophyll content of the combination(042-1×360-3) with obvious superiority over better-parent and mid-parent was the highest.
