Abstract

In order to find out the optimum and maximum fertilizer application for late rice production in Tiandong County,Guangxi,‘3414’ fertilizer experiment on late rice was conducted in Baidu Village,Xiangzhou Town,Tiandong County in 2009.The results showed that nitrogen content had the most influence on the production of tillers and late rice yield.Soils of tested field contained lesser nitrogen and higher P and K contents.The optimum fertilizer application on late rice in Tiandong County was found to be 174.4,70.4 and 114.9 kg/ha N,P2O5 and K2O,respectively,and the fertilizer application for obtaining maximum yield was recorded as 177.4,70.9 and 119.6 kg/ha N,P2O5 and K2O,respectively.
