Hongxiang Yang, Xi-Xiang Xu

Open publisher page 2 citations

Abstract

A direct method for constructing integrable expanding models for discrete systems is developed through enlarging the associated Lax pairs. As illustrative examples, the procedures for the Toda lattice and a new lattice soliton system of a rational type are discussed. PACS numbers: 02.30.Ik, 02.90.+p I.
