Method of Making Trains Diagram with Computers

With the development of economy and culture, Chinese railway met with great market shock. The train diagram plays a basic role in the preparation for the train working. For a long term, the train diagram in china was prepared manually, and it need many human and material resources. Fortunately, in recent years, the experts and the professionals in traffic and transportation area had taken the work for preparing the train diagram with computer, and the achievement is salient, for an example, the passenger train diagram of all the road net is in practice. The train diagram is introduced firstly in this paper. Then some theories about train diagram, including the base element, the types and the evaluating indexes, are analyzed in details. And on the basis of them, three methods for making train diagram are shown: The first is called time-and-space rolling method. It’s a mature method, and it has been implemented; the second one is called generic algorithm. The implementation of coding, permutation and aberrance in train diagram algorithm is the emphasis; The third method makes use of Common KADS Methodology, mainly its planning module and schedule module for the original train diagram and its adjustment. At last, through the research on the method of making train diagram with computer, I will take some suggestions for the development strategy of making train diagram with computer.
