Abstract
In this paper a scheme using an Intel MCS-51 single chip microcomputer to control an instrument for automated cell potential measurement is presented. The system hardware and control software are discussed in detail. The sampling of solutions, the measurement of samples, and the acquisition of data are controlled by a single chip microcomputer. This fully digitally controlled instrument is small in size and exhibits high reliability.
