Abstract

Chromophores embedded in zeolite‐type hosts have potential applications in optical devices. However, the conventional preparation results in an inhomogeneous distribution of the chromophores. It is demonstrated that direct synthesis can result in chromophore‐zeolite composites with well‐defined stoichiometry and uniform chromophore distribution, as illustrated for [Cocp F⊕]‐NON in the figure. magnified image
