Abstract
The paper deals with basic principles of the so-called True Current Operational Amplifier (TCOA or COA). It is demonstrated that the single-input, differential-output COA is the adjoint element to the voltage operational amplifier (VOA). As the VOA is one of the basic elements in voltage processing circuits, the COA should be employable as the important element for current processing circuits.
