Abstract

Magnetic properties of the Nd/sub 2/CuO/sub 4/ single crystals, connecting with the orientation of the Nd and Cu magnetic moments are investigated with the magnetometer, which can measure three mutually perpendicular components of the sample magnetic moments. The 90/spl deg/ anisotropy of the components of the sample magnetic moment due to the orientation of the applied magnetic field in the [001] plane is observed.
