Abstract
The 2DOF model and differential equation of three-axle vehicle with multi-axle steering are established. Based on zero side-slip angle of mass center and proportional control strategy, handling stability of three-axle vehicle with two steering mode (the front and rear wheel steering 4WS and all wheel steering 6WS) are simulated and compared. But considering the realization of all-wheel steering is difficult, the performance effect of vehicle structure parameters are analyzed, by means of adjusting structure parameters, handling stability of front-rear axle steering is similar to that of all-wheel steering.
