Abstract
Abstract Temperature effect on the extraction of uranyl and thorium nitrates by tributyl‐phosphate (TBP) has been investigated at different nitric acid concentration (–0.17 ∼ 3 N), and solvent composition from 10°C to 60°C. Thermodynamic quantities for the extraction of uranyl nitrate and thorium nitrate were also estimated.
