Abstract
In order to test and evaluate high-power traction motor propulsion system on EV, a dual-test bench for traction motor and motor controller was designed. The operator schemas of this motor test system were introduced. The structure and operation principle of this test system for motor propulsion system were analyzed from hardware and software aspects. Full load characteristic curve of the target traction motor, motor efficiency curve and experiment data were obtained based on test bench experiments.
